Well got there in the end I made the mistake of asking her Dad who then insisted on me changing jobs and then moving to Scotland before I was granted a yes!
Chrissi loved the ring but couldnt understand why I had taken so long!!! It was a funny story and definitely one for the grandchildren in the future.
